MUSH, MUSH!

Dog Camp on Mendenhall Glacier.

Flew into the camp via helicopter on a clear, beautiful day. The ride was amazing! And by going, I fulfilled another lifelong goal - taking a helicopter ride! That, in itself, was incredible. And it just got better!!!!






We were first given a tour of the dog camp. Then, we got to hold the puppies! After that, we were on our mushing way!
Our lead musher/guide was Mark Chin. My fellow-first-time mushing friends, Jean and Gordon Peters of Port Aransas, Texas, were great; we had so much fun!

It is one of the coolest things I have ever done and that's no lie!
